How the decision is made
The captain checks the forecast the evening before and again on the morning of every trip: wind, sea state, visibility and the risk of thunderstorms. If any of these cross our safety limits, the trip moves to another day.
What you get if we cancel
A full refund or a free reschedule to a date that suits you. The choice is yours and there is no paperwork.
If conditions change during the trip
If the sea turns once we are under way, the captain may change the route or shorten the trip. If that materially affects your day, we offer a partial credit towards your next trip.
Offshore trips
Trips far offshore need a wider weather window than trips close to the coast. When the offshore window closes, we can often still run a half day closer in.
